Hot Women Campaign and Earth HourThe goal of the Hot Women Campaign is to get women to reduce their carbon emissions by 5% so it seemed a good idea to support Earth Hour and we hope you will too. Earth hour was a 2007 initiative between WWF – Australia and Sydney Morning Herald. It’s goal was to reduce Sydney’s emissions by 5% year on year. They invited Sydney to turn off their lights between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on 31st March 2007 to send a message of concern about the future of the planet. This massive collective effort reduced Sydney’s energy consumption by 10.2% for one hour. This simple act has captured the imagination of people all over the world and has become an annual campaign. Hot Women International Campaign Joins WWF in fighting climate change during Earth Hour 2008 As a result, at 8.30pm on the 28th March, 2009 millions of people in some of the world’s major capital cities will unite and switch off for Earth Hour.
