Hot Women Campaign Supporter Lucy MoorhouseLucy Moorhouse from London tells how her life has changed in a positive way since heading up a carbon offsetting organisation, her concerns about compulsive buying and how she thinks that the Hot Women Campaign will allow more people to understand climate change. My life has definitely changed since I started heading up a carbon offsetting organisation. Climate change has always been a concern of mine, but now every day I read something or speak to someone new on Climate Change and Carbon Emissions, and how they are affecting our environment, and it shocks me. It is such an important topic and I feel that not enough people are taking it seriously. What I
like about Hot Women is that its main focus is encourage positive change.
I know from myself, just turning off the tap whilst I brush my teeth and
cycling to work, to buying organic fruit and veg from local farmers, has
been good for me. Not only do I feel
healthier, but I know that my input, however small it is, is helping the
environment and educating others to do the same. In fact I would feel
morally wrong not cutting down on certain things. |
